LEE de FOREST (1873-1961). American Inventor known as the “Father of the Radio”. Pioneer in wireless, first to demonstrate sound in motion pictures (1923). He invented the Audion which was used in everything from radio, television, long distance service, and the first computer. He patented over 300 inventions.
Fine sentiment, boldly signed and dated in blue-black fountain pen on a lined 3″x5″ card, “Best wishes from Lee de Forest, Dec. 1, 50″. Slight age discoloration not affecting inscription and signature. Excellent for framing and somewhat uncommon. $350.00
