AUGUSTA NATIONAL SCORE CARD
SIGNED BY THREE GOLF GREATS
GENE SARAZEN, SAM SNEAD,
& BYRON NELSON

AUGUSTA NATIONAL SCORE CARD SIGNED BY THREE GOLF GREATS: GENE SARAZEN (1902-1999), SAM SNEAD (1912-2002) & BYRON NELSON (1912-2006).

Gene Sarazen (born Eugenio Saraceni) was one of the few golfers to win all the Major Championships in his career. He won 39 PGA Tournaments, and was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1974. In 1930 he invented the modern sand wedge and called it the sand iron.

John Byron Nelson, Jr. was an American PGA Tour golfer between 1935 and 1946. He is remembered mostly for having won 11 consecutive tournaments and 18 total tournaments in 1945. He retired at the age of 34 to be a rancher, and later became a commentator. The EDS Byron Nelson Championship was the first PGA Tour event to be named for a professional golfer. He recently passed away.

Samuel Jackson “Sam” Snead was one of the top golfers in the world for most of 4 decades. He won 82 PGA Tour events and about 70 others worldwide. He won seven majors: three Masters, three PGA Championships and one British Open. His reputation has always been slightly tainted by his failure to win a U.S. Open, despite his great achievements. Snead was famed for his folksiness, wearing a straw hat and playing tournaments barefoot. $345.00
